Granada - March 12 to 16, 2010

E-mail Print

These days in Granada have been very intense, so I'll try to simplify and elucidate what happened.

March 12, Friday: We went with Lia (tourist guide "Granada secret underground") to learn a little history of Grenada in the Andalusian period.

We visited passages through which people living in the Alhambra could move without being seen. There were passages that connected the Alhambra with the Jewish quarter of that time were those who controlled trade (comerce?). Synchronously these passages are just below the barn (granero?) which supplied all the royals who lived in Alhambra.

Jews and Muslims at that time enjoyed good relations as they helped each other on the issue of trade in cereals, spices, ...

The barn is just outside the Gate of Justice, symbolized by a hand and a key (food). It is the hand which carries food to the mouth, the "money" at that time.

It was a time of great splendor and abundance for all.

Then we visited the abbey, founded by the Inquisition, beginning as a university, where they taught philosophy, theology, law, ... and later it was only teaching theology.

At that time the Catholic kings took possession of the Kingdom of Granada and expelled the Muslims who refused to convert to Christianity or they also cut off the head in a place near the Carmen of the Martyrs (hence its name).

The abbey was where the first time (and it was a must for enrolling to study there) the cult of the Virgin Mary began as Mary Immaculate, born without "original"pecado?

In the abbey we saw the lead (plomo?) books, lead medallions with Arabic and Hebrew letters and symbols, which were found by the Church in the place where he founded the abbey. Apparently talk of prophecies and information that the Inquisition didn´t want people knew.

From there we move to the Sacromonte district, named after held sacred by the Church, because there it was also found the remains of the body of San Cecilio, a disciple of St. James, in the year I a.C. Before this mountain was known as Valley Paradise. Being outside the borders of the Alhambra here fled the few Muslims who remained Jews, African slaves of the noble families of the era, which were released by families unable to return home with so many people and there they went to seek the treasures that their owners (amos?) supposedly buried there, and the gypsy caste, from India, who came as part of the royal army and settled there too.

All there a merger created Muslim-Jewish-African-Indian, born of flamenco music and self-reliant community in every way.

After this journey through the history of the arrival of the Inquisition, the last kingdom in Iberia existing

Saturday 13 March: Saturday we went to the Alpujarras. Tb Mountains where many families sought refuge. There we meet with John, a great friend and excellent permacultor. There we could relax in the little wood-house of John, right next to the river and in the middle of the mountains of the Alpujarra.

Sunday 14 March: On Sunday there was a meeting of all associations of women in the Alpujarras. John gave us part of his time in his workshop for Roy, to give his message. Women are very excited with the information.

From there we went to the junction of the rivers, coming from Sierra Nevada, where Roy made a small ceremony using the energy of the junction of two rivers flowing to the coastal plain.

Monday 15 March: we went to Carmen de los Martires, where we did a ceremony at the font where the Inquisition forced the Muslims to convert and if not they cutted the heads.

The guard of the place told us that in the “sigh” of the Moor's where Boabdil (the last king of Granada) gave the key to the Catholic kings, so there we went. There one man from there said us that it was not exactly where it happened, but in the oldest chapel which is next to Granada's Palacio de Congresos. In the sigh of the Moor was the last time Boabdil looked at the Alhambra and cried, telling the mother "woman cries as you could not defend like a man." Here we invoke the mother of Boabdil to help and guide us.

From there we went to Almuñecar, most important port in those days where the ships sailed back to Africa or the Arabian Peninsula. Also entered place where many of the civilizations of all time: Egyptians, Phoenicians, Arabs, Visigoths, ...

We also made a small ceremony in a rock on the beach that is related to the energy of the Dragon, for this energy away from east to west and therefore the transition is done peacefully. From there Roy took a white stone and red (symbolizing the power of the white dragon and red dragon). From there we returned to Granada.

Tuesday, March 16: morning we went to the hermitage of San Sebastian, where they told us was given the keys to the Catholic kings. He agreed that next to the chapel, in the Conference Center just this morning it was a meeting of representatives of the European Commission to discuss Innovating Regions in the European Union. All full of policemen, the center closed to traffic.

The chapel was closed because only open on Sundays, so we made the ceremony next to it. We use the ashes of all the ceremonies made for the world, tobacco and a red and white stone on the beach caught the energy of the dragon. Also we put precious stones. We call upon all the spirits of place and all nations to ask for guidance and help, and smoked the pipe of peace for the Earth is a Portal of Peace. We also ask that representatives of the European Union countries to tell the truth at that meeting was going at that time. Thus, with the ashes of all ceremonies, and the rock of dragon, we were scattering the ashes from the ceremony venue to the great pine that is beside the entrance to the Palacio de Congresos (which interestingly had both ash and sides of the trunk when we arrived), and from there to the door of the Congress to guide the spirits there.

This done, Roy asked me to take those ashes with the stone dragon at some point inside the chapel of the day they open, to place it there, right where it took delivery of the last places left to be conquered by the Inquisition in Iberia.

Then we went to Alcazar del Genil, rustic palace by King Jusuf, which was located just across the esplanade that once were plantations of cereal (corns,...) and areas where the people lived by farming. It was a time of great abundance and prosperity.

Here Roy suggested reusing the room, which was used as a protocol for the royal family to receive the people, smoking the peace pipe by all the leaders who would say just go for the truth and fight for peace.

I would add a fact I think something more than curious about what it symbolizes for me:

in this palace, I found a ladybug and flew off. Later, on the way back home, We meet again her at a little street, and I put her close a garden, but she flied back to the sidewalk of the city, and later again I saw her on the sidewalk of the city a little ahead of where she flew and several hours later, but it hurted and so I took her home where he lived one day more until she died.

I would like to attach it to the ceremony on that will go to the shrine, having been part of it also in some sense that I do not know. According to Roy came from the kingdom of spirits.

We finish this trip in Granada at the offices of the Arab Center, where they told us that a possible translation of some of the information of the plumb books is that the "savior" would come back to the "City of the Sea"

I say goodbye with this unknown mistery, hoping you have enjoyed with the story of what happened.

One hug!

Angie
